2. To collect overwintering C. tritaeniorhynchus, a main vector of Japanese encephalitis in summer, in Korea.
The results are summarized as follows after 5 years of investigation on overwintering mosquitoes of Korea.

C. pipiens 96.7%
C. hayashii 2.9%
C. orientalis 0.2%
A. sinensis 0.3%
2. It was not found the overwintering C. tritaeniorhynchus at all in spite of concentrated effort to capture them.
